1. Where is my personal journal data stored? Your privacy is our absolute priority. SoloLog operates under a strict local-first infrastructure. All of your text entries, logs, and imported photos are stored securely inside the App's local directory sandbox right on your mobile device. We do not maintain any central cloud servers to view or hold your data.
2. Will I lose my data if I delete the app or switch devices? Yes. Because SoloLog works completely without user accounts or central database servers, your data remains strictly on your individual device. Uninstalling the app, clearing your device storage, or resetting your phone without a prior backup (such as a full Apple iCloud system backup) will lead to permanent, irreversible data loss. We have no technical way to recover your logs for you.
3. Does SoloLog use AI or send my entries to external servers? No. SoloLog does not use any artificial intelligence cloud processing or automated parsing infrastructure. All utility operations happen locally on your device, ensuring your private reflections and daily details never leave your phone.
4.Why does SoloLog ask for Camera and Photo Library permissions? These permissions are purely optional and are only requested when you want to capture a photo directly inside a log entry or import existing images from your local albums. Your media stays confined to the app sandbox and will only be exported back to your system photos app when you explicitly tap a "Save" or "Download" button.
5.How much does SoloLog cost?
SoloLog is currently 100% free of charge. There are no hidden in-app purchases, locked premium features, or recurring digital subscriptions.
