POCKETECH LIMITED ("we", "us", or "our") operates the SoloLog mobile application (the "App"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use our Service.
1. Information Collection and Use
Our core privacy principle is absolute data minimization. The core functionality of SoloLog happens locally on your device, and we do not maintain central servers to store your diary entries, logs, or media files.
- No Personal Identity: We do not collect your name, physical address, contact list, email address, phone number, or any account-based personal information. The App operates completely without requiring a user account.
- User Content Data Protection: Any text, photos, or logs you input into SoloLog are processed and stored strictly within the App's local directory sandbox on your device. We do not upload your media or logs to external servers.
- Service Usage Data: To provide a stable user experience and analyze app performance, we may use specific third-party analytics services. These services may collect information on how the App is accessed and used, which may include your anonymous device identifier (IDFA/IDFV), IP address, and app-internal telemetry events (such as "log entry created" or "export completed").
2. Third-Party Service Providers
To optimize our marketing attribution and ensure stable software performance, we integrate the following third-party platform:
- **AppsFlyer:**We use AppsFlyer for marketing attribution and to track internal app telemetry events. This helps us understand the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns and optimize user experiences. AppsFlyer securely handles anonymous data protected by industry-standard encryption. For details, please visit the AppsFlyer Privacy Policy.
3. Device Permissions
SoloLog requires specific system-level permissions to function correctly. Even when granted, all media processing occurs strictly on your local device:
- Camera & Microphone: Essential if you choose to take a photo directly within SoloLog to insert instantly into your active journal entry.
- Photo Library: Required to allow you to import photos from your local albums into your daily logs, or to save your finished logs or exported media directly to your device's system Photos app. Your media is kept entirely under your control in local storage, and we never upload it to external servers.
- Tracking (IDFA):If you grant permission via the iOS App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt, AppsFlyer will use the IDFA to attribute your installation to a specific digital marketing campaign source. You can decline this prompt without affecting any of the App's core utilities.
4. Data Security and Retention
We do not store your personal journal contents or raw media files on our servers; they remain entirely under your control within your local application storage sandbox. Data handled and collected by AppsFlyer consists solely of anonymous, non-personally identifiable technical logs, which are stored securely by the provider and protected using industry-standard security protocols.
5. Children’s Privacy
SoloLog does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. Since the App focuses entirely on local utility, operates without user accounts, and utilizes strictly anonymous device identifiers for performance analytics, it is entirely suitable for a general audience.
